W pierwszym rozdziale przedstawiono
istotę i cele motywacji. Następnie zaprezentowano teorie motywacji w ujęciu tradycyjnym
i w ujęciu przedmiotowym, a wśród nich teorie treści, teorie procesu i teorie wzmocnienia.
W dalszej części pierwszego rozdziału omówiono podstawowe zasady skutecznego
motywowania oraz koncepcję systemu motywacyjnego. Poruszono także problem
dotyczący niematerialnych form motywacji do pracy, a także krótko scharakteryzowano
motywację pozytywną i negatywną. Drugi rozdział pracy poświęcony jest problemowi
zarządzania pracownikami w organizacji. Wyjaśniono w nim istotę, cele i funkcje
Charakterystyka komunikowania w organizacji, bez którego trudno
wyobrazić sobie normalne funkcjonowanie firmy w dzisiejszym świecie, kończy rozdział
drugi. Trzeci, empiryczny rozdział pracy przedstawia problematykę metodologii i badań
własnych wraz z graficzną prezentacją wyników badań. Przeprowadzone przez mnie
badania wykazały, że w naszym kraju wynagrodzenia finansowe mimo wszystko wciąż
bardziej przemawiają do pracowników różnych grup niż inne formy wynagradzania, takie
The purpose of this thesis is to present how motivation at work can become an ally
of an employer in the process of managing employees and how it can be used as one of the
tools evaluable in the wide range of managerial instruments. In addition, an attempt has
been made to see whether different groups of employees are motivated by the same forms
of remuneration.
The thesis comprises of three chapters. The first chapter starts with the essence and
targets of motivation. Next, motivation theories, both from traditional and subjective
perspectives, have been described, including material, process and enhancing theories.
Further, basic rules of effective motivation and a concept of motivation system has been
presented. Finally the problem of non-material forms of motivation for work has been
shown, as well as positive and negative motivation has been elaborated on.
The second chapter has been devoted to the issue of managing employees in the
organization. The essence, goals and functions of human resource management has been
presented, including its organization and models. The topic of recruiting new staff and
lowering headcount has been described, techniques of evaluating, developing and training
the staff have been shown. Another vital topic elaborated in this theoretical chapter is the
issue of remunerating employees and evaluating their work. Brief of internal
communication, without which it is difficult to imagine normal functioning of any business
entity in the modern world, ends the second chapter.
The third, empirical chapter of the thesis has been devoted to the issue of
methodology and my own research including graphic presentation of research results.
Research conducted by me has proved that in our country, financial remuneration still
seems to be more appealing for different groups of employees than other forms of
rewarding such as company mobile, company car, laptop, medical care etc. The results
confirm, that the quality of work is strongly influenced by opened and friendly atmosphere
as well as good and safe conditions of work.
